To Conduct Business: We may collect information from you (e.g. name, address, social security number, and other personal and business financial data) to service your needs. The information we receive from you will remain confidential.
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications, tax organizers, worksheets and other documents;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others;
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those members of our firm who need to know that information to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Sharing Information With Others: We will only share the personal financial information that we collect as permitted by law or to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. Client information (including copies of tax returns) will not be released without written consent from you the client.
Whenever we hire other organizations to assist us in providing support services (e.g. electronic filing of annual tax returns) we will require a contractual commitment not to disclose any information they receive from us to any other person or entity and to use the information we provide for the sole purpose for which they were retained.
We will not now or in the future disclose any information about you for the purpose of marketing any product or service. We will not disclose personal financial information to any external organization except as authorized by law.
