Dan also volunteers to help serve the greater business community.  He has served on the Board of Directors of Hartford County Chapter of APICS, the association for operations management, as President from 2015 until 2017, holding the Treasurer position before that since 2009.  As President, Dan oversaw increases in membership, events, and business partnerships of the organization all to help support members of the operation management community network, obtain certification, and benchmark with other Connecticut manufactures.  Since 2013, Dan has been involved with the Connecticut Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), an organization that provides support for common interest communities.  He regularly contributes articles for their magazine “Common Interest”; participates in seminars at the annual expo, volunteers as an instructor on accounting fundamentals as part of CAI’s education efforts; and serves on the Association’s Legislative Advocacy Committee and Next Generation Committee.  Dan also actively participates in the Hartford Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the Connecticut Society of CPA’s, and the New Haven Manufactures Association (NHMA).

Prior to joining our public accounting firm, Dan interned as a staff accountant on a 34th Street Films production gaining corporate accounting experience; and established and managed his own bookkeeping business from 2008 to 2018.
